A few years ago, when I went to Africa for the first time to put down roots in the market, I met 10-year-old Abasi in a village with only tin roofs - he walked 3 kilometers at 6 o'clock every day just to listen to the volunteer teacher explaining the English alphabet with charcoal on a stone under a tree, and he said, "I want to learn English and become a doctor so that my mom won't get sick again. "
